I've been listening to some spicific jazz tunes to get ready for our upcoming performance. Several of the CDs I checked out from the UNT audio library have stickers that say, "From the collection of Willis Conover." I didn't know who that was. Aparently, he was a well-known jazz critic, and radio guy. Anyway, his vast record collection ended up in the library at UNT. At least it will be appreciated and put to good use there.
