speaking of bebop... can anyone give me a rundown on the different bebop scales? ive read about using a dominant and minor bebop over a ii-V, but if someone could give me their thoughts on how it's applied, id appreciate it.

Hi Grantgreen... There used to be a time when there were some experienced top guitarists on the forum answering questions such as yours. These days the forum is quieter.sssssshhhhh zzzzzzz snore But obviously you'd google your question and find lots of stuff online. If I was going to explore the sound of be bop scales I'd probably put some 2,5, s into Band in a Box or somesuch and have them repeated back to me while I played the scales in various ways.You'd soon find out a few ways to apply them
