Hey, Any of you ever heard of this Joe Pass album "Guitar Interludes" ? It's out of print right now, but I was able to find it online. Anyway, there's some weird quasi-rock songs on it (I suppose I call them quasi-rock since it's Joe Pass ). Still good playing from Joe, it's just weird. I uploaded an mp3 to yousendit.com (it says it will stay online for seven days or a limited amount of downloads). s45.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2SV0L0IPP080G1WZSQY2FPGY7W

Some more info: vinylpodcast.com/page/4/This is a weird one. I'm a real Joe Pass fan and I've never heard of this. Sounds too foreign given his great solo albums.

I googled around, too..."Guitar Interludes" is something of a puzzle.
So far, I've come up with a release date (4-14-60) but no description from VH1, a release date (1969) but no description from Yahoo, some talk about the album on the internet which says it was released in 1977, Discovery, and contains the song "A Time For Us" (which is amazing), and some solo pieces which are "not worth writing home about."
It's not mentioned in any Joe Pass discography I've looked at.
There are no copies for sale at gemm.com.

I was able to find the whole album in mp3, it's interesting but not the best (which is probably why it's out of print). but what about this record that's on ebay? cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=306&item=4740839904&rd=1Joe Pass “The Stones Jazz” World Pacific WP-1854. Mono. 1967. Guitarist interprets: Lady Jane / I Am Waiting / 19th Nervous Breakdown / Not Fade Away / As Tears Go By / Satisfaction / Play With Fire / Paint It, Black / What A Shame / Mother’s Little Helper. Record and cover are in VG+/NM- condition, with only a few light flaws. Studio work is weird.
