I'm working on a original tune by a singer/songwriter/guitarist that has a 2 measure break that is a C9. She wants me to play a riff/lick over it. Anyone have any favorites I could try? I'm not coming up with anything that I like. BTW, the song then goes to A9 that she sings a line over. Thanks!
