Anyone know where I can find some decent jazz backing tracks to jam along to, (preferably for free) besides some midi files?

Band in a box is a great program and there are a ton of midi and BIAB files on the net. I highly recommend this.

It's not free, but I recommend Nothin But Blues by Jamey Abersold. It's a book with a CD of really well done jam tracks.
