Just picked up a new Breedlove 12 string. I bought this primarily for folk music but anyone else out there use one of these for jazz ala Ralph Towner, etc.?

Here's a side-track that your new guitar post started.
I've never owned a 12 string, but I have a friend in Tennessee who plays them almost exclusively, so I've played his. Back in 1981 we recorded the Leo Kottke song "Tiny Island" (from the 1972 album Greenhouse). I started out playing folk music, as well.
Just curious, JA, if you know this song or album?

You know Mahayana, I've never been a big fan of Leo's, but I might give him a re-listen. He's certainly a very capable guitar player and he's worth another shot. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. To answer your question, I don't know the song or album.

Those Breedloves are really nice. I'd really like to own one myself someday.
