This is just some nonsense. I noticed that we passed 700 posts yesterday, for the whole board. About doubling what was here from the first go-around back in 2002 when it started.
So, I'll pop a top and drink a beer to toast all the people that like to play jazz on the guitar. May you stay sharp, may your skills be constantly augmented, may your brew never go flat, and your enjoyment never become diminished (or even half-diminished). I could embellish this, but hey, I've only had one drink!

It was only half a dazen posts away when I left last night. Maybe we can resurrect this "abandoned" website after all.
BTW, someone mentioned that these boards have a number of changeable looks, like skins. Maybe we can make it look a little better.

Well, we seem to really be moving right on along now. This is my 100th post, and the forum is nearing 1100 posts. I think it's a good sign, and I hope to see a little more traffic here soon. ;D I will even have more jazz stuff to talk about soon. I play in a big band at a local junior college with a bunch of guys who go just to play jazz. We start up again in about 3 weeks. I'm really looking forward to it.  |

To me, it was never about numbers, only quality.
