Remember when the 'new site' worked. We had a thread about this Joe Pass album. Now I have bought a copy and so far I havn't been dissapointed. It contains great versions of some of Ellington's best known songs. Highly recommended for any fans of Joe Pass, Ellington, jazz guitar or good music.

Yeah, it was a drag to lose that thread (and everything else over there).
Was it you or JA that's doing Solitude? I'm going to post the simple version, guess at Misc Lessons since we don't have the Heads section here. I'm looking for a jazzier arrangement.
I looked at Portraits of DE at VH1, (artists/Joe Pass/albums), it has Solitude, Don't Get Around Much Anymore, In a Mellow Tone (the one that starts out like "Someone To Watch Over Me"), others that I play.
I admire anyone that can do good chord-melody, it ain't easy! Been trying for years to get mine more metronomic (is that a word?), less "free."
