I was listening to the Nat King Cole trio recently (the last time listening I'm fairly sure I didn't play guitar, at least I didn't have the ears I do now) and the guitar playing just floored me. The compilation I was listening to also had Oscar Moore (the trios previous guitarist) but I was so captivated by Irving Ashley's playing. The following site has some Real Audio clips of some of his recordings (the clips are usually just a 30 second sample and usually at his solo). www.classicjazzguitar.com/albums/artists_albums.jsp?artist=62Anyone know any good recordings (albums) with him that are currently in print?

Hi,
Nat's second Guitarist was Irving Ashby; preceded by Oscar Moore, and followed by John Collins. He was a fine player!
