Hi all.
I have a problem with my guitar. I have a sort of "dead note" when a play "B" on the "E"-string(the thick one). In the same time this note makes another sting vibrate. Do you think there is a way to "repair"/ or solve this problem.
My guitar is a ARIA PRO II PE-180 from 1976.
Newbee from Denmark.

Usually, the wolf tones on a guitar are C or C sharp on the low E string. Check that your setup is correct, especially the intonation on that string. Perhaps try new strings or even a new brand of strings.

Yeah, I'd check out the action. If that doesn't work you'd probably have to take it to a music shop... maybe it needs some fretwork?

HI all,
Thanks for the replys.
Yesterday I tryed to lowen the stringdistance to the fretboard. Easely done with the two fingerscrews.
I guess it took a lot energy out of the guitar, and now the problem with my "wolf tone", and Yes it was C is minimized.
Now a have a problem wit the thin E, ringing on the fretboard when played loose. Guess I have to put something "under" the string to raise it at tiny little bit...
or what?

Where does it buzz? On the first fret? Or somewhere else? If it's not on the first fret, try to raise the bridge a little until it stops buzzing.
