Welcome, fivethousand.
I looked for a thread where Professor talked about the program at University of North Texas. He may be the one to offer perspective on various schools. Where is Musicians Institute located?

I was accepted and almost went to the Musician's Institute in Los Angeles. It was then called the Guitar Institute of Technology. I think it is still a great place, tho I haven't checked it out in years.

thats cool that you were accepted... i've been talking to a lot of people, some who have gone, others who just know about it, and a lot of people say that one of the most important aspects of MI is that you meet some amazing musicians and contacts that are simply just priceless, and on top of that you get great lessons and classes and meet other students who are just as amped as you are...but yea it seems like the contacts/networking is a big part of the scene there.. which i think is pretty cool.
