Don't know if this has been talked about much on these boards but this is one of my favorite gutiar books. No tabs but it's actually fun to be able to figure out the chords (where it should be played).
I've worked on Four on Six, Fried Pies, and Cariba in the head section and I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face in the chord melody section. Haven't attempted any of the solos yet.
It's really fun though, accurate transcription, lots of endorsements (Jim Hall, Larry Coryell) and I think it was only 12 bucks!
Highly recommend this one. Steve Kahn has published some new books recentley, his one on chords (Chord Khancepts) seems really interesting, apparently all chords are voiced on the first four strings to free up the bass notes. Has anoyne ever seen or checked this one out?
