I do like your arrangement, JA. Have played it through a few times, not up to speed yet.
The first tab is easier to read on my little computer screen, I'll try printing out #2, maybe it will be easier on my eyes that way. Guess that's one problem, getting a music score to fit while keeping font size large enough to not squint.
May just be my glasses. I like Guitar Pro 4, we should do a different song in another thread using it, maybe 20% larger, fewer measures per line?

Great M. I'm going to send pinsk94 some tunes, maybe one at a time. Do you have any requests, any arrangement you're already working on etc. Let me know folks.

Well, I did ask for something a little jazzier than what I posted at Solitude (lost over in Misc. Lessons, before we got Heads and Comping sections). My Funny Valentine is another that comes out kind of blah the way I play it. There are lots of tunes I'd like to find better arrangements for! Let me think...

Hi folks! I just played it through and it really sounds fine, jazzalta2! What about playing the Dm 6/9 that way:

Hi Kawa. The idea behind my arrangements is that they are not written in stone. They only represent one way that a tune can be harmonized. In fact, I very rarely play songs the same way twice. I try to use voicings that I like and that snag the melody where need be. So use whatever you like. That's the whole idea.

Mine are mostly my own, with the occasional Joe Pass or Lenny Breau related riff or two. Joe was my main guy so a lot of my stuff probably reflects that. I was going to use my stuff with students as a starting point for their own arrangements. I never really meant for them to be played verbatim. But, I guess they can stand alone too.

Namaste (jazzalta),
You asked in this thread a couple of years ago for requests- do you do All Blues, have a chord melody arrangement for that one?
thanks
