I'm just wondering how many on the forum use programmes like tabledit,powertab,guitar pro.These are programmes that allow you to arrange music in tab form.You can listen to the playback of your arrangements.
For myself I can really recommend these.I bought tabledit recently and in tinkering around with tunes constantly my playing has come on somewhat.I really enjoy it.

On the subject of tab arranging I've often thought that if all of the forum members had the same or compatible arranging programmes we could be posting all kinds of jazz ideas.
Entering chord progression ideas by numbers(i.e. 200210 = D9) is ok in a limited way - good for showing single chords .
It would be nice to have a common and easy way of posting musical ideas.....if we had this I'm sure the forum would be a livelier place.
