look at this weird thing on ebay tinyurl.com/an364I'm constantly searching ebay for Barney Kessel's The Guitar. I passed one by when I was first looking because I thought $40 was too steep. I didn't realize it was so rare to even be listed. Anyway, on my periodical search I came across this strange BK clone with "organ circuits"? I'd like to hear what it sounds like. Anyone ever play or see anything like this (from this vintage)?

thanks kawe!
I'm bidding on it now, hopefully there won't be much difficult/delay with it being in Germany and me being in the states. But I never even thought to search the other areas (nor did I know they existed seperately from US ebay).

d'oh! I wasn't home when the auction ended and was outbit. Maybe I'll try the amazon when I've got the scratch to spare. I really shouldn't be seeking out more books when I've already got so many to work in but I'm particularly interested in what the old masters have to say. Like the Joe Pass, Lenny Breau or Howard Roberts books. I've got a few Joe Pass ones and the latter to in digital format, but I've yet to see Mr. Kessel's educational methods.

Guitorgan: I used to play with a guy who played one. They were kinda rare even then (29 years ago). He got pretty good on it. Mind you, the material we were playing at the time was pretty simplistic. They were unique tho.

Did it actually replicate organ sounds? Could it do chords? It seemed like the sort of thing that would be an interesting idea but a bad one in practice. If it could actually sound like an organ that might be a fun thing to experiment on (not for jazz, but for other things, possibly for jazz).
