Hey all I am working on a whole tone piece for a client. The Conan O'Brien Theme Song, Simpson's Theme Song are examples of whole tone pieces. I just stumbled across this forum while looking for scale modifications that work over top of a whole tone foundation. The whole piece isn't going to based on whole tones. If you listen to the above mentioned theme songs you hear harmonies that are outside the framework of the melody line. Any suggestions?

Hey, I finished the song... you can hear it at www.myspace.com/matthewalanberdyckI recorded it using a Compaq with a Duo-Core, Sonar Producer 4, The mike on the front of the laptop, Acoustica Beatcraft for the Hip Hop beat... and just a nylon string Yamaha. I think it came out well... it's called Jazzy Jacuzzi Jizz
