Thanks for the huge response to my 50's epi question!?! No worries and no harm done - I picked up a great 50's epiphone and it sounds great and looks good. One's ears always give the best advice anyway. So, as a result I need to sell a guitar or two. I have a 1988 ES 175 for sale. Blond finish - it's been a working guitar and has a little honest wear (finish on the back of the neck is worn and a few marks round the sides etc). It all helps it feel like an old dream and it has a sweet sounding neck pickup. It will be going for a sensible price is anyone is interested. Slightly less cheap but still cheaper than from a shop is an almost mint condition gretsch country classic as well - any bargain hunters out there let me know.
