Hi, I've been working on Upper Structure Triads for piano chord voicings. My goal was to find all possible major and minor triads over IIm7, V7 and a method to practice them individually and over the IIm7 V7 progression for my students, since they are always asking me how to comp and arrange songs using USTs. The method has worked so well that I've decided to publish it and would like to recommend to any students trying to tackle voicings using USTs. I am now looking to adapt the method for guitar and I need a piano player that can really play advanced guitar and understands jazz harmony and theoryHere's a reharm for Blue in Green I did using USTs and other devices. To find all the possible USTs, I used the Decoding the Circle of Fifths system. There's a free online software to find and analyze structures and subsets. mCircle Here's a link for the UST book if you want to read more about it: UST Jazz Piano Voicings If you're interested send my a private message here, Thanks. PS. I hope this is the place to post this.
